I met 3 people with different background. First person was Mr. Ramu Uncle and his occupation is Driving, second person was Mr. Soundararajan who is a Security Officer in one building complex and the third person was Mrs. Valli aunty who is a home maker.
Interview with Mr. Ramu uncle
Question: what problems you face in your house due to garbage?
Answer from Ramu uncle: Garbage is not maintained properly.
The pits are not laid on the road. It is difficult for him to drive. If is the roads not laid in a proper condition It may lead to bad condition of the road.
Interview with Mr. Soundararajan – 15 minutes
Question: what problems you face with the garbage near your house?
Answer: cleaning of the garbage in the roads is a duty of Corporation Counsellor.
If not cleaned, you will have mosquitoes breeding. Plastic bags with less than 17 micron is bad for the environment. Pumpkins are not cleaned properly after it is broken.
We should use only paper bags. If there is a problem you can contact the government official.
Before rainy seasons we should clear all the garbage. Tyres attract mosquitoes and we should not have tyres thrown in the roads. Water is there in the pits, we should clean.
Fridge tray is not cleaned regularly – leads to unhealthy environment. Over tank not cleaned with Chlorine.
Do not blame the government alone, we are also responsible. Do not throw trash – properly throw in the garbage cans.
I have gone to Germany for work and how they maintain we need to learn. Plant 100 saplings for one tree cut.
Interview with Mrs. Valli aunty – 10 minutes
Question: what problems you face with the garbage near your house?
Answer from aunty: Mosquitoes breeding are high, unpleasant atmosphere, unhealthy sign for our environment. Plastics to be separated. Other fruits and vegetables will become manure.
Question: what problems did you face with bad roads?
Answer from aunty: It would be difficult to travel, cause a bump, have back ache, smooth ride is difficult.
Rainy season what stagnates, pits are not seen – people will fall down from their two-wheelers
Smoke in cars and trucks cause air pollution.
