Hello everybody, I am here to talk to you about a problem I noticed in my locality.
On Sunday evening, I sauntered down the road with my parents. We walked for about twenty minutes while observing the surroundings. Suddenly, some bad stench filled the air. We stopped and looked around from where the odour came from. Then, I noticed a huge plot of land where all sorts of garbage were being disposed. These waste included food waste, papers and plastic waste. There was also a lot of stagnant water with weeds. I was so surprised by this careless way to dispose the waste. To add on to this issue, there were a few cows grazing on the plastic bags.
These problems might lead to the soil contamination. This place may be breeding grounds for insects like mosquitos. As you all know, mosquitos and other insects can cause many harmful diseases. Moreover, the animals grazing on the plastic bags may become choked and may also die. This careless form of waste disposal has to be soon acted upon.
To solve this problem, firstly, the public should be informed about this careless form of waste disposal and its harmful effects. This would help us to get the support of the people. Next, this plot can be cleaned up. Finally, the government could be informed about this issue and request them to set up proper garbage disposal facilities. This is a very thoughtless form of waste disposal as the human as well as animal life is being affected.
