I started at around 6:30 to survey people. First my dad then my mom and then a few of my neighbours who are really disturbed by the garbage lying outside.i had to spend a lot of time on asking them the questions. I gathered all my information and then started to put it together. I then organised my information. I started typing it down…

Story:

My wife and I landed in chennai around 5 in the morning. We reached our new place to start our new dreams. My daughter and son have settled in america. So we thought we will move from Mumbai to chennai to have peaceful life. We like to go on a walk every morning and evening at 6. So we thought of going on a walk after cleaning the house. We started at 6:30 and we explored our new community. But soon we smelled a horrible smell. It was really unpleasant. We saw heaps of garbage lying on the road. We elderly people could out go for walking peacefully. It was really disturbing. So we thought we will put up a notice in Vareva, a blog for the residents in our community. Soon we formed a group to clean the garbage lying there. People painted the wall, Installed cctv cameras, planted plants over there. At the start nothing worked but later on it gradually started working. And no, today it’s a huge success.
